It came!! Eeek! I have been super impatient for this to come in the mail I must say. So this box is Superbox #82 The Face Shop and I bought it in a bundle with the Skinfood box (that post will be coming today too). The Face Shop Box was described as:
“Natural beauty, natural story.
Always on top of their A-game, The Face Shop is Korea’s premier cosmetics brand known to pursue excellent quality, style, and innovation. This box brims with skin, body and makeup goodies that have won countless beauty rewards – all made with gentle natural ingredients.

Endorsed by Korea’s top girl group Miss A’s Suzy, The Face Shop is recognized globally as a novelty brand that leads the beauty industry with superior ingredients, rst-class stylishness, and original design.
Up your look with The Face Shop’s natural recipe for impeccable beauty!”
The bundle of these two boxes was $58 and it came with $6.99 shipping that was upgraded to express shipping which was great. It shipped from Seoul on October 29 and it got to me today which is November 5. That is pretty good if you ask me.
If you have not heard of Memebox, it is a Korean beauty box that contains a variety of skin care, makeup, and other beauty products. There are several types of boxes, including: memeboxes, superboxes, nakedboxes, and boxes that are set around a particular theme. The prices vary depending on the type of box that you get and can range from $15-$80 I believe. Most of the regular boxes are $23 and then you also have to pay $6.99 shipping for each box. You have to keep an eye on the shipping dates for each box because it can be months away, that way you aren’t frustrated wondering why the shipping takes so long. Sometimes if boxes are due to ship at the same time, they will have bundles so that there is only one shipping cost.
This was the smaller of the two boxes so I decided to open it first. Is it bad that I still assume bigger boxes mean better things? One thing to remember is that with the Superboxes, all products will be full sized.
Okay, let’s get into the products in this box!
The Face Shop Calendula Eden Essential Moisture Cream 50 ml ($9)
Restore your skin’s most natural, healthy glow with Calendula Eden Essential Moisture Cream packed with an intensively hydrating blend of calendula extracts and hyaluronic acid specifically formulated to prevent moisture loss and to firm up sagging skin.
How to Use: Apply directly to clean face at the last stage of skincare routine
This came at a perfect time. I am hitting the bottom of my daytime moisturizer pot and was just thinking that it would be time to buy a new one soon. When I tested this cream on my hand, it is quite thin so we will see how I like that. I usually use a thicker moisturizer for my face so hopefully this works just as well to moisturize my skin, especially now that it is getting much colder and dryer.
The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Pastel Cushion Blusher 5g ($7)
This easy to use blush creates a subdued silky finish that creates a more 3 dimensional face for the look of a sharper jaw line and a rosier complexion. Its shimmery, satiny, and radiant formula leaves an immediate perk-me-up finish that brightens up your face.
How to Use: Apply along cheekbones with a light touch, using the included puff.
This blush came in either 01 Rose Cushion, 02 Coral Cushion, 03 Plum Cushion, 04 Pink Cushion, or 05 Peach Cushion. I got the 04 Pink Cushion in mine and I am happy with that. I would have been happy with any of these colours actually so it was a win no matter what. The packaging with the little puff is so cute, but I do find the puff isn’t the best for packing on colour.
I did take pictures of the swatch of this but it was just too hard to see on camera. When I swatched with my finger, it looked like this horrific Barbie pink that is not my style at all. When I used the puff or a brush though, the colour was much more subdued and wearable. Although I do think this is more of a spring/summer colour, I will definitely get use out of it!
The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Mini Pet Hand Cream 30 ml ($6)
Replenish and soften dry, roughened hands with this adorable packaged mini hand cream perfumed with a variety of fruity and floral fragrances that linger on your hands long after application.
This hand cream came in Baby Powder, Sweet Fruits, White Floral, and Fruity Floral. I was a little confused by this because my pot says Mini Pet Sweet but it matches with the Fruity Floral. I had to look it up to make sure but it is the Fruity Floral which is described as Green Peach & Plum & Cherry Blossom Perfume. I probably would have preferred the Sweet Fruits because it is mango and peach but this would have been my second choice! It is a thin hand cream which I don’t mind and it will definitely come in handy because winter means dry hands all of the time!
The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Dessert Lip Balm 6g ($8)
A mini jam-like dessert lip balm that comes in three options – strawberry jam, orange marmalade, and jarful of honey. It’ll melt onto dry, chapped lips instantly and create a moisture barrier over top for preventing further dehydration.
So I obviously got the strawberry jam version of this and frankly I would have been completely happy with any of these ones so I am happy with this one. I just have to comment on how absolutely adorable the little “spatula” is because it looks like a wooden dipper for a honey pot. I am obsessed with how cute this is.
Along with how cute it is, this lip balm smells delicious! It reminds me of a lip balm I used to have but I can’t remember which one, maybe from The Body Shop. When I first put this on, I thought it was kind of sticky and not super moisturizing. I’ve had it on for awhile though and it sits quite nicely on my lips. I like this one!
The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex You&Eyes 05 Sand Brown 1.6g ($5)
Subtly glittering, easily blendable, long-lasting, and highly adhesive, this one-tone shadow palette applies smoothly onto lids and creates a natural, F/W smoky makeup when mixed and matched with a variety of fall colours.
Okay, I must say that when I read the colour Sand Brown, I was less than enthused. I thought it would just be a matte, beige kind of colour which of course is wearable, but isn’t super exciting. When I opened it up though I saw the sparkle it has and I got much more excited. That swatch picture does not do the glitter any justice. It is a beautiful neutral with a nice glitter that I think would look great packed on top of an eye look to add some pizazz.
I also have to say that not only is the packaging for this sleek, it is adorable. It is so perfect that this got to me in November since it is “Movember” and it has that adorable moustache on it which I am way too excited about. I think I will be using this eyeshadow a ton!
The Face Shop Milk Plus Calming Cream Shower 300 ml ($8)
Soothe and nourish the body with The Face Shop’s Milk Plus Calming Cream Shower. Gentle enough to use even on the most sensitive types of skin, this soothing cream washes, cleanses, and moisturizes the body to leave the skin silky soft, supply, and milky-white.
Memebox did send out an email a couple of days ago saying that they had messed up the information card and this was the product that needed fixing (they did send out images of the new card). The card says this was a body lotion but it is actually a shower cream/gel. I like that this has a pump on it because it makes me a lot easier to use in the shower. The only scent that it really has is a clean soap kind of scent which is still nice. I am swamped with shower gel at the moment but I will definitely get around to using this!
Okay, so let’s talk overall thoughts. For this box I paid $29 and the total retail value of the box is $43. I have seen so many reviews where the retail value of the box is over $100. However, with that being said, I would rather have a lower value with products that are great and I will use. It wouldn’t be great to have a super high value box with products that I wouldn’t use. I think that I will definitely use all of the products that I got and will be quite happy about it! These are nice products so I am happy with my first Memebox 🙂
