Memebox Cleanse Morning & Night

Cleanse Morning and Night

If you want to achieve that beautifully radiant Korean glow, removing makeup is ALWAYS more important than actually putting it on! Rule of thumb is, if you spend 20 minutes slapping on makeup, you should spend the same amount of time, maybe even more, cleaning it off! Regardless of your skin type, cleansing is the most important step in the game of Korean skin care! Don’t waste your time running down the aisles trying to find your perfect cleanser because we’ve curated the best morning and night cleansing routine-in-a-box to help you get glowing down to the pore!

If you have not heard of Memebox, it is a Korean beauty box that contains a variety of skin care, makeup, and other beauty products. There are several types of boxes, including: memeboxes, superboxes, nakedboxes, and boxes that are set around a particular theme. The prices vary depending on the type of box that you get and can range from $15-$80 I believe. Most of the regular boxes are $23 and then you also have to pay $6.99 shipping for each box. You have to keep an eye on the shipping dates for each box because it can be months away, that way you aren’t frustrated wondering why the shipping takes so long. Please be aware that Memebox will no longer be shipping internationally. They will only ship to addresses in China, Korea, and the USA as of February 10 2015.

Shara Shara Dream of Moisture Cleansing Oil 150ml ($13)

This effective, deep cleaning cleansing hydrates skin while it removes makeup and skin impurities. It provides essential hydration and nutrition for with sweet almond oil, avocado oil, argan oil, honey extract and more healthy ingredients to cleanse the skin’s surface and renew the complexion, leaving it healthy-looking and refreshed. Ideal for all skin types, the non-greasy texture leaves skin feeling moisturized – never tight or dry.

How to Use: Rub three to four pumps into dry hands and massage evenly over dry face. Wet the face and massage until makeup is melted away. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel.

I’m excited for this one! Other than the Banila Co. Zero, I haven’t tried any oil based cleansers. I definitely haven’t tried an actual cleansing oil so I’m sure this will be nice. I’ve heard good things about Shara Shara skincare so hopefully it lives up to what I heard.

IMG_20150130_105841

Yadah Pore Refining Foam Cleanser 100ml ($15)

This maximum-strength foaming cleanser leaves skin tingly clean and refreshed. Formulated with egg white extracts, mineral water, and flower water this pore clarifying cleanser controls excessive sebum, removes dirt and oil living deep within the pores, and soothes and refines the skin. The results? Skin is refreshed and purified! Of course, there’s the added bonus of less likelihood of breakouts and blackheads!

I do have a lot of foam cleansers lined up but I certainly won’t turn a new one away. Especially since Memebox won’t be shipping internationally anymore, I need to hoard my Korean cleansers. The fact that this has egg white extracts reminds me of the Skinfood egg cleanser. I like that one so hopefully I like this one too.

IMG_20150130_105921

Calmia Oatmeal Peeling Gel 100g ($14)

This exfoliating grommage gel visibly rolls and lifts away dead skin cells when gently massaged onto skin. Its gentle oatmeal and honey infused formula helps to effectively peel away the dead dermal layer to uncover a smooth and fresh new skin! It also removes impurities and decongests stubborn clogged pores for a youth, radiant look!

How to Use: Apply a generous amount on clean, dry skin. Gently massage in a circular motion to roll, lift, and sweep away dead skin cells. Rinse well with water.

I haven’t tried any grommage style peeling gels before but I have heard a lot about them. The thought of my dead skin rolling away is a little strange but if it works really well than I am all for it! I am excited about the honey aspect of this peeling gel. I look forward to trying this for sure!

IMG_20150130_110036

Bory White Snow Toner 130ml ($35)

This professional toner contains naturally brightening and moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, licorice extract, and morus alba bark extract to help clarify and brighten up the overall complexion. It contains arbutin, which inhibits the formation of melanin, to help prevent pigmentation and dark spots, and also contains propriety Lipidure to hydrate the skin, leaving skin clear, moist and healthy.

On the packaging of this toner it says “professional use only” which makes me a little bit skeptical. Is it too intense and that’s why it’s for professional use only? I figure that if it wasn’t safe, than they wouldn’t send it in a box but who knows. If it really is a professional toner than hopefully it will be really great!

IMG_20150130_110200

Neogen Neoday Eye Remover Pencil 2.6g ($16)

This ingenious retractable eye makeup eraser/fixer instantly removes all traces of eye, including waterproof formulas, with its innovative double-ended tip. The oil balm tip uses gentle, non-irritating and skin-soothing ingredients to gently erase makeup, while the sponge tip helps to remove all residue and help tidy up around the eyes.

How to Use: First, use the white oil balm tip to gently rub away any unwanted makeup around the eyes. Second, use the sponge tip to remove unwanted makeup residue and finish up your look.

I am intrigued by this product! I think it could be really cool if it works the way that it’s supposed to. I would be a little worried about the oil getting into your eyes when it is in a more solid form but if oil cleanser works to take off makeup than this should work as well!

I was surprised by this box. I was expecting that this would be entirely filled with cleansers which also made me a little but wary because I can only use cleansers so quickly. I was happy to see a couple of other things and cleansers in various forms. I paid $21 for this box plus $6.99 shipping and the total retail value was $93. Not too bad for a bunch of cleansers! I am happy that I ended up purchasing this one.

Sorry I don’t have any coupon codes for you but if you would like to check out their website and make a purchase (until February 10 for everybody or anytime for China, Korea, and US residents), than you can do so at http://us.memebox.com/

Memebox Boxing Day Special #4

Boxing Day 4

Last but not least, Memebox presents you with our final Boxing Day Special #4! This lovely box offers 5 full-sized skin care and makeup products from the hottest K-beauty stores (like Skinfood and Tonymoly anyone?) for only $23! Grab yours now, because Boxing Day Special boxes come in limited quantities only and we don’t want you to miss out!

Sometimes if boxes are due to ship at the same time, they will have bundles so that there is only one shipping cost.

The promise of brands such as Skinfood and Tonymoly was the reason that I purchased this box. I have liked products from these brands before and was excited to see which new products of theirs I could try. Let’s see what we got.

Boxing Day 4 Box

Skinfood Eyebrow ClosedSkinfood Eyebrow

Skinfood Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake 4g ($5)

Formulated with cacao extracts, this Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake carries two naturally blending grey, khaki, or brown shades for shaping and defining fine arches with an easy sweep.

01 Grey Khaki Black, 02 Grey Brown

This is not a product that I was excited about to be honest. I received this product in my Skinfood box and wasn’t overly excited about it at the time either. You could have received 01 Grey Khaki Black or 02 Grey Brown and I received 02 Grey Brown which is the exact same colour I got last time. I think I will probably find someone to pass this along to.

Skinfood Tomato Toner

Skinfood Tomato Whitening Toner 180 ml ($17)

A premium Tomato Whitening Toner made from sun-ripe tomato extracts and Vitamin C complex to make skin brighter, clearer, and suppler.

This is another repeat from the Skinfood box that I received. I finished this bottle of toner literally only a couple of days before receiving this box which was kind of funny. I did enjoy this toner. I found it quite refreshing and it actually became my favourite part of my skincare routine. I am working on a lemon peeling toner at the moment but I think that this one is next in line (based on expiry date). Its not so great that this is a repeat but at least it is something I know I like!

Nuganic BB

Nuganic Customize Anti-Wrinkle BB or Customize Pure Snail BB 40 ml ($54)

Nuganic BB Creams work to balance out the skin’s oil & moisture level for a silky smooth finish to your makeup. They offer strong UV protection while effectively covering up skin imperfections and leaving your skin glowing with a natural shine. The Anti-Wrinkle BB is enriched with adenosine, arbutin, ginseng extracts and more, and the Pure Snail BB bases its formula on snail mucin filtrate, aloe vera leaf, lemon, and various herbal ingredients.

There were two options for which kind of BB cream you got and I was really indifferent to which one that I had to be honest. I have not opened this because I have several BB creams open at the moment but I’m sure it will be nice. There is no shade listed so we will see how it matches. I haven’t had too much trouble matching the Korean BB creams so far because I am pretty fair. I am excited to try this!

Skinfood Cleanser

Skinfood Egg White Pore Meringue Foam 200ml ($13)

Abundant, meringue-like fine bubbles penetrate deep into skin without irritating or dehydrating the skin texture. Highly recommended for weak and sensitive oily skin types.

This is the final repeat product in this box, also from the Skinfood box. I am a couple of days from finishing my first bottle of this cleanser and I have enjoyed it so I am not upset to have another one. I have so many cleansers at the moment that I may never run out!

Tonymoly Tint Swatch

Tonymoly Delight Tony Tint 8.3ml ($4)

One of the bestselling lip tints in Korea, this tint instantly gives vivid red colour to your lips with just a single touch. It creates the long-lasting, radiant lips, popular among Korean beauty lovers.

How to Use: Apply small amount to inner center of the lip. Blend it outwards to create gradient lips.

The final product of this box is a Tonymoly lip tint. For some reason I skipped actually taking a picture of the packaging but you can see the swatch above. I received 01 Cheery Pink and the other choices were 02 Red or 03 Orange Cha Cha. I am so unbelievably happy that I didn’t get the orange version of this! When I read that it was Cheery Pink, I was a little afraid it would be a Barbie kind of pink. Fortunately for me, it is a deeper pink that I actually like quite a bit. Once it sets, it doesn’t seem to budge so that is great! As you can see in the picture, the colour may feather out a bit so be careful with it on your lips!

I paid $25 for this box and received products that are valued at $93. I am still waiting on my Boxing Day #5 box but so far this has been my least favourite of the Boxing Day boxes. It’s not that these are bad products, I just would have preferred getting something new that I haven’t tried before. Overall, an alright box.

Memebox #65 Apple Mojito

Apple Mojito

There’s no alcohol necessary to turn you into an addict, because this box is packed with a healthy crush of high-energy refreshing fruit mixes that levels up your beauty! Bursting with skin and body healthy mixes, this box contains all things all of the best beauty wonders to pamper your skin and body! You’ll surely be asking for the second rounds!

Sometimes if boxes are due to ship at the same time, they will have bundles so that there is only one shipping cost.

I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to get this box. It really intrigued me and it wasn’t too expensive but the description was a little vague so I wasn’t sure what I would get. When I saw that there were only 2 boxes left, I realized I had to have it so here we are.

IMG_20141217_135235

IMG_20141217_135358IMG_20141217_135414

Let’s see what came in this box!

IMG_20141217_135253

Enesti Apply & Honey Shea Butter Hand Cream 50g ($5)

The heavily nourishing honey and vitamin-rich apple formula of this hand cream works to moisturize, purify, and firm up dry hands.

I have so many hand creams on the go at the moment so I probably shouldn’t have opened this yet. I decided that I needed to smell it though so I threw caution to the wind. I am glad that I did open it because it smells lovely! I am more impressed with the scent than I thought I would be so thats awesome. I do have a couple of creams I want to use up before this one so it is going into my hand cream box.

IMG_20141217_144903

A.H.C. Climax Foam Cleanser 180 ml ($29)

Formulated from soda water, coconut, and glucose components, this A.H.C Climax Foam Cleanser is a mild facial cleanser with abundant foams and rich in various nutrients. It’s creamy in texture and leaves skin moist and supple after use. Recommended for all skin types – oily, dry, combination, and sensitive.

I have a cleanser and a half to use up before this one so it is still sealed. I am assuming that the soda water ingredient is the reason this was included in the Apple Mojito box which I guess makes sense. I think I was hoping for a little more towards the apple or lime end of things but I’m sure this will be a nice cleanser!

                IMG_20141217_135523IMG_20141217_135539

Holika Holika Dessert Time Lip Balm 06 Lemon Cupcake 6g ($6)

Moisturize and refresh chapped lips with lemon-scented Dessert Time Lip Balm in 06 Lemon Cupcake. The tinted formula also adds a natural pink flush and suppleness.

I remember seeing these lip balms in a previous box, although I can’t remember which one. Although the outside is cute, I am way more impressed with the actual balm. The smell of this is so nice and lemony! It also feels like it will be pretty moisturizing. I thought mojitos were made with lime, not lemon, but that is okay because I love lemon too!

IMG_20141217_135658

Purederm Skin Turn-over Lemon Peeling Toner 170 ml ($24)

This Lemon Peeling Toner is enriched with AHA, lemon extracts, witch hazel water, and portulaca extracts. When used on a cotton pad to tone skin after cleansing, it helps soothe and de-stress stimulated skin and facilitates skin turn-over by removing dead skin cells and smoothening out uneven skin texture.

I have now made an Excel spreadsheet just to keep track of which products I need to use when based on expiry dates (sad that I need to, I know). Even though I do have other toners waiting in the wings, this one will be next. I am hoping that this smells lemony but I’m not sure whether or not it will. Either way, I am glad to have it. It seems I will never need to buy things like toners and cleaners again at the rate I’m going.

IMG_20141217_135805IMG_20141217_135952

Tonymoly Red Apple Tox Honey Cream 80 ml ($12)

Made from vitamin-rich apple and deeply nourishing honey, Tonymoly’s famous red Appletox Honey Cream is a daily facial cream with a unique honey-like texture. The bouncy, hydrating gel cream stretches when patted on, giving the skin a massage effect as well as a silky finish.

For anyone who is really into Memebox, I’m sure you either already own, or have at least heard about the Apple Tox Cream. This was one of the items from the Cutie Pie Marzia 2 boxes that never seem to sell out and that few people want anymore. I never bought that box but from my understanding, this was one of the products people actually liked from it. As people have said, the smell of this cream is very nice and reminiscent of apples. A lot of people said that their creams leaked but mine had only a drop or two outside of the seal so that’s okay. It does feel sticky but thins out and absorbs quickly once it is on the skin. I am definitely happy to have this but won’t be using it for a little while still.

I am happy with this box! Since I wasn’t sure what to expect, I didn’t set the bar all that high. However, even if I had I think I would be impressed. I am building a collection of skincare products but since I am still newish to Memebox, I am okay with getting these kinds of things. This box was $26 with shipping I believe and the retail value of the box is $76. Even though the retail value isn’t all that high, everything in the box will be used and that is of more value to me than just a high monetary value.

Memebox Thanksgiving Box Collection #1 For Me

Thanksgiving 1

Put this on your own wish list: K-Beauty junkies will go nuts over this limited edition “Thanksgiving Box Collection #1 For Me”! Everyone knows the best gifts are the ones you get yourself, so say thanks to yourself this 2014 Thanksgiving season, packed with the perfect collection of K-Beauty selects. Considering all the 2014 stress-think overtime work, juggling 2 kids, and cramming for finals week- you really, really deserve it! Memebox put together a special box full of holy grail K-Beauty goodies that we want to gift you this Thanksgiving season!

I am way too excited that my Thanksgiving bundle has arrived! I only bought it last week and I was still far too impatient waiting for it, especially when I was trying to avoid the spoilers online. I bought this box in a bundle with the Thanksgiving Collection #2 For You box for $58.99 including the $6.99 shipping (with free upgrade to express shipping). I also had a coupon code so it cost me a total of $48.99 for both boxes (about 24.50 per box including shipping).

Sometimes if boxes are due to ship at the same time, they will have bundles so that there is only one shipping cost. Let’s take a look at the first Thanksgiving box!

This box is so bright and colourful, I absolutely love it!

Clio Virgin Kiss Tinted Lip #22 Electric 3.5 g ($10)

A pop of orange under daylight, Virgin Kiss Tinted Lip in #22 Electric transforms into a glow-in-the-dark electric orange under blue LED lights. Its feathery lightweight formula glides onto lips smoothly and stains it with the colour radiance and adherence of a matte lipstick. Plus, its vivid colour formation is based on safflower components which were used as natural lip steins by Korean geishas back in the days.

This was the spoiler product for this box and I have to say, I just wasn’t excited about it. I love lipsticks but orange is not a colour that I can wear, especially not one that is this orange. I am intrigued to see what it looks like under LED lights but I think there are so many colours they could have given us that would have been better than this one.

       admin-ajax (7)admin-ajax (8)

Jaminkyung Gokmul Care Ultra Ampoule Toner 110 ml ($46)

Jaminkyung is a Korean natural cosmetics company with its brand value set on achieving ‘lasting beauty’ through a combination of naturally-derived quality ingredients and its safe & effective manufacturing technology. The Gokmul Care Ultra Ampoule Toner is a 2Phase essence type toner with a blend of lightweight whole grain-infused toner and deeply nourishing camellia oil in a 6:4 golden ratio. It will deliver a rich moisture boost while controlling the moisture/oil balance for dry, sensitive skin.

How to Use: After cleansing, gently wipe away with a cotton pad soaked with Gokmul Care Ultra Ampoule Toner.

I am excited about this product. The packaging is beautiful and it is absolutely huge! I feel like it will take me forever to get through this. I do have my Skinfood Tomato toner to get through first but this is definitely next in line! From what I have found, some of the ingredients in this toner are: camellia oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, barley, black sesame seed extracts, and other types of grain extracts.

       admin-ajax (9)admin-ajax (10)

803 803 Cream 50g ($34)

The 803 cream series is specifically designed so that each cream targets different parts of the face. They’re all enriched with shea butter, adenosine, adipophilin, niacinamide, and borphilin which have skin effective brightening and firming functions. The Palzza Cream works to firm up and fill in the deepening ‘smile lines’ that run from nose down to the corners of mouth. The Sam N Cream targets dry, sagging neckline with a blend of purified caffeine and collagen extracts. The Young Cream is a moisture booster for face and body.

So this came in 803 Palzza Cream, 803 Sam N Cream, or 803 Young Cream. I got the 803 Sam N Cream which is made to be used on your neckline and has caffeine and collagen extracts. I usually just use what is left on my hands while moisturizing my face, and bring it down to my neck. It could be interesting to see if this cream does anything for my neckline. At 25, I haven’t noticed my neckline sagging or anything but this is the time to start worrying about preventative aging products so I will definitely give it a try!

admin-ajax (11)

Sally’s Box 4 Set [Love Recipe Apple Mask 20 ml + Delight Panthenol Hydrogel Mask 25g + Delight Ceramide Hydrogel Mask 25g + Delight Collagen Hydrogel Mask 25g] ($13)

The Love Recipe Apple Mask is enriched with abundant apple extracts for soothing and balancing out rough skin texture and delivering moisture and nutrition into the skin. The 3 Delight Hydrogel masks are made from the ‘garden complex’ containing more than 10 herbal ingredients from Mother Nature and each work to deeply hydrate, firm up, and relieve coarse, thirsty skin.

How to Use: Place the mask over clean face and rest for 15-20 minutes. Remove the mask and pat in the remaining essence for full absorbance.

There is no way to express how excited I am about these! After ordering these boxes, I couldn’t help but hope there would be at least one type of mask in them because I haven’t been able to try any sheet or gel masks yet. I certainly didn’t expect to get a 4 pack of masks, and all different ones too! So excited!!! I can’t wait to try these, I may use one today after I shower.

       admin-ajax (12)admin-ajax (13)

Tonymoly Hello Bunny Perfume Bar 02 9g ($11)

A stick-type perfume bar packaged into a lovely bunny design. It’s infused with a top note of lemon citrus, a middle note of frisia and white rose, and a bottom note of sandalwood and musk.

I don’t think that I am a fan of this scent which makes me a little sad. In all of the fan forums, I have seen people rave about Tonymoly products and I was excited that I had gotten one. When I was reading the description, I thought it sounded nice and hoped it would be mostly citrusy. Unfortunately it is the musky sandalwood that I smell the most so i am not crazy about it. I do love the little bunny bow-tie though. I may need to find a loving home for this little guy.

admin-ajax (14)

Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Foam 75 ml ($8)

Abundant, cream-like foam bubbles penetrate deep into your pores, cleansing away any makeup residues, skin impurities, blackheads, and dead skin cells piled up and leaving your skin freshly cleaned, moist, and brighter overall.

Lately I have been enjoying trying different cleansers so I am excited to try this one! I am currently using my Skinfood Egg White Pore Meringue Foam Cleanser but this will definitely be the next one that I try. At this rate, I am never going to run out of cleansers and toners with Memebox and I love it! I hope this one smells nice, I didn’t open it yet because I am still using my other cleanser.

           admin-ajax (16)admin-ajax (15)

Pisteo Bright & Pure C Serum 7ml ($25)

Made up of pure Vitamin C concentrates, this tiny bottle of nutrients will replenish moisture balance, firm up fine wrinkles, and brighten overall complexion with continuous application.

How to Use: Replace the flat lid of the serum with a taller lid with a pipette and a cap over the top. Squeeze out a penny-size amount and massage it onto clean face.

This serum normally comes with four 7ml bottles which is worth $100 so this one bottle is worth $25. I have only just delved into the world of serums recently when I received a sample serum in my Topbox so I am excited to have this for when the sample runs out. I like that they provide you with the pipette top to use on this bottle. I didn’t notice any real smell to it which is better than it having an offensive smell. I will definitely be trying this one soon!

Those are all of the products in the Thanksgiving #1 box and I am really happy with it! In terms of value, I paid about $24.50 for this box (including shipping) and I received products totally $147 value. I am super happy with this and will get lots of use out of almost all of the products in the box. It is only the lipstick and the perfume bar that I am iffy about.

Stay tuned for my Thanksgiving #2 Box and if you would like to make any purchases from Memebox, feel free to use my affiliate link or codes below to do so! These codes are valid until November 29 2014.

Memebox Superbox #84 Skinfood

Skinfood

Okay, so this is the box that I was super excited about! This is Superbox #84 Skinfood and I bought it in a bundle with The Face Shop box. Here is the description:

“Didja hear? Skinfood is finally here at Memebox! We are so excited to bring you our first ever Skinfood box. Skinfood is the first ever Korean cosmetics brand to emphasize the importance of “feeding” the skin! Skinfood travels all over the world to find the highest quality ingredients to bring you first class cosmetics and skin care! All cosmetics are infused with a healthy blend of fruits, veggies, and your delicious treats to enhance your natural beauty. This box is brimming with a delicious mix of Skinfood’s skin care and makeup to give you a beauty blast!”

The bundle of these two boxes was $58 and it came with $6.99 shipping that was upgraded to express shipping which was great. It shipped from Seoul on October 29 and it got to me today which is November 5. That is pretty good if you ask me.

Box Comparison

Here is just a comparison to show the difference in size between the Skinfood box (top) and The Face Shop box (bottom). The products in this box were much larger but that is due to the types of products they were.

Once again it is important to remember that the Superboxes contain all full sized products. Alright, let’s see what we’ve got!

Skinfood Facial Water Vita-C Cream 75 g ($13)

Quench thirst by delivering a richly nutritious blend of Vitamin C complex and Alaska glacier water deep into the skin. The Vitamin C complex contains extracts from raspberry, acaį berry, cranberry, and strawberry and works to replenish healthy energy to dehydrated, dulled complexion.

How to Use: Apply directly to clean face and let it absorb. It’s recommended to be refrigerated for better moisturizing and soothing results. It can also be used as a hydrating pack by applying thicker amount of the cream.

I am absolutely obsessed with this jar! I think that once this product is gone, I am going to wash the jar out and keep it for something else because it is just beautiful! The consistency of this is thin so a little goes a long way. Just from the feel of it I could definitely see how putting this in the fridge would make it super refreshing and soothing. The scent this has is just a mild lotion kind of scent. Nothing offensive so that is nice. Now I have 2 new pots of moisturizer, I won’t need to buy any for quite awhile.

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off 100g ($9)

An effective facial exfoliator rich in various minerals and vitamins. Use occasionally to cleanse away excessive dead skin cells, oil, and skin impurities piling up in the pores to make skin sensitive and troublesome. It’ll bring back healthy radiance and suppleness to skin with just a single use.

How to Use: Spread the formula evenly over wet face after cleansing and gently massage into skin. Rinse off after 10-15 minutes.

I am excited about this one. I love sugar scrubs and this one has a lemony (almost like lemon cleaner) scent that I really enjoy. There isn’t a ton of product in this container but a little bit may go a long way. I am a little concerned that this may be a little too rough for your face but I am willing to give it a try. If I find that it is, I will definitely use it on my body anyways.

Skinfood Egg White Pore Meringue Foam 200 ml ($13)

Abundant, meringue-like fine bubbles penetrate deep into skin without irritating or dehydrating the skin texture. Highly recommended for weak and sensitive oily skin types.

So this is a cleanser which is awesome because I just ran out of my cleanser. I didn’t buy a new one because I was hoping to get it in one of these boxes. There is something about this product that I can’t get over, it has had me laughing since I read it. The back of the bottle is mostly Korean and just instructions but at the top it says “For skin as smooth as a boiled egg!” Just hilarious, I have never thought to myself “hey, I wish my skin was smooth like a boiled egg.” Maybe I am the only one that finds this funny.

Anyways, when I pumped this cleanser out, it was a little tough to get it moving through the pump. However, it is a nice, light foam that has little to no scent and I think this will be great as a daily cleanser!

Skinfood Tomato Whitening Toner 180 ml ($17)

A premium Tomato Whitening Toner made from sun-ripe tomato extracts and Vitamin C complex to make skin brighter, clearer, and suppler.

I am very happy to have gotten a toner because I haven’t been using one for quite awhile but I have been wanting to get back into it. To be honest, whitening products make me super nervous. I am so white as it is, if I get any whiter I may be see through. I am hoping that the whitening just means that it will make my face brighter.

Skinfood Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake 4g ($5)

Formulated with cacao extracts, this Choco Eyebrow Powder Cake carries two naturally blending grey, khaki, or brown shades for shaping and defining fine arches with an easy sweep.

Alright, I have to be honest, reading the colour choices for this eyebrow powder scared me. There were two options and they were 01 Grey Khaki Black, and 02 Grey Brown. I am blonde so all of those colours sounded bad. I was hoping for the Grey Brown because I do tend to go with a taupe brown kind of colour for my brows. Also, the fact that black was in the first one was just terrifying. I got lucky and did get 02 Grey Brown!

When I opened it up and swatched them, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. The first colour is a brownish colour with almost a red kind of tint to it. The second colour is a darker brown with a grey tint to it. I think I can definitely make these work so I am relieved.

Overall, I am really happy with this box! For this box I paid $29 and the total retail value of the items is $57. Much like with The Food Shop box, the overall retail value isn’t super high like I have seen with some other boxes from Memebox. However, I will use all of the products in this box so I am glad that I got it! I have another box shipping November 11 and I can’t wait because these boxes were so great for me!
